We started as a small group.
The Falkirk Vineyard story is about ordinary people who worship and serve an extraordinary God.
Falkirk Vineyard began life as a Small Group of the Edinburgh City Vineyard (or 'ECV', formerly Almond Vineyard). The Edinburgh church had a Small Group in this area because we had a significant number of people from here who attended the church in Edinburgh.
We loved being a part of ECV, and we loved leading this small group, because it is the type of church that we had longed to be a part of.

We planted in Falkirk.
In 2010 God began to challenge and encourage us about planting a church in our home town of Falkirk. He gave us a vision to plant a Vineyard Church in Falkirk so in April 2010 we approached our senior pastor about the prospect of planting a church in Falkirk. We had no experience of leading a church but God’s call to share His love with our community and our town was too strong to resist.
We wanted to do church in our community with our friends and neighbours and we wanted it to be a Vineyard Church for Falkirk – one that reaches the local community and has an impact outside the four walls of the building.
In September 2012 we began meeting as a church on the first Sunday of the month, whilst continuing to be part of ECV. On 9th February 2014 we were released by the Edinburgh church to become Falkirk Vineyard Church and commenced our weekly services from the 1st June 2014.

On the move.
We originally met in Greenpark Community Centre in Polmont. However, in 2016 we outgrew the facilities. Feeling God's call to move further into the heart of Falkirk, we moved to Erskine Community Halls in August 2016. However, a year later, the facilites again became too small and unsuitable. We realised that God was using steps to take us into Camelon, the largest ward in size and population in Falkirk. In August 2017 we moved to Camelon Community Centre, a large facility in the heart of the community. When we wrote our vision statement at the beginning of our church ("a church in the community, serving the community, changing one life at a time"), we could not have seen how God would grow and move us as a church to fulfil that vision in the clearest of ways.
We are following the Holy Spirit as He guides us in doing all the works He has prepared for us. We are serving the community, reaching out and caring for the hurting and broken, seeing the lost get saved, baptising people, discipling them to live for Jesus, and helping them find their place and purpose in God's Kingdom, mindful that "everybody gets to play".

The story continues.
We want to see God's love and power reaching people all over Falkirk and Central Scotland. God is building an amazing community of people at Falkirk Vineyard and we are expecting God to move through us in even greater ways to change and shape the places we live.
We'd love for you to become a part of the story - there's a place for you here.
